A beautifully situated restaurant with delicacies made from potatoes at reasonable prices.

Great service even during the restriction in November 2020. We had our food delivered. The man who brought the food was very friendly, personable and accommodating. The food was excellent. Price-performance ratio is right. The potato pancakes with salmon were delicious, gladly again anytime. The beef roulades were hearty. We hope that you will get through the coming weeks well and that we can visit you again soon in the restaurant.

The staff at the restaurant were very helpful and friendly. We asked for vegan options, they were really flexible and agreed to prepared vegan plate for me. It was very delicious! Good prices, delicious food and very traditional German cuisine. Definitely worth to visit!

Price performance ratio has decreased a lot. I haven't eaten that bad in a long time. Meat dry, dishes without any taste. 20 euros per person with drink. Just a rip off. A few days later we went to Slubice for half the price. In terms of taste, however, it is 10 times better, and even a competitive athlete would have satisfied with the portion. Frankfurt gastronomy should learn something from that. Sorry that I am phrasing this so hard. 🙈😤🍳👎

Been here again after many years. Very nice seating in the beer garden with a view of the Oder. Rustic food, everything geared towards potatoes, everything was very tasty. Service friendly and fast. Recommendable

Good restaurant with nice and filling potato dishes, outside with a beautiful view of the Oder. The food is prepared tasty. One would like to come back. Not so good: Missing tablecloths and hard garden chairs.

When we came in we were greeted in a nice and friendly way and then accompanied to our reserved table, where we could order the drinks directly, which we didn't have to wait long for. When we ordered the food, it was brought to the table very quickly. The food was hot the steak was cooked perfectly medium as I ordered it. We were even asked if we wanted to have a drink when our glasses were empty (unfortunately it has not been standard in most restaurants for a long time) For dessert there were beautifully arranged sundaes with delicious ice cream. All in all, a great recommendation on my part. Thanks to the potato house team.

We were back after a long time because our favorite restaurant was closed! It was very crowded, so we just got a table outside. The service seemed a bit stressed but friendly. The atmosphere on the Oder is always nice and we have nothing to complain about about the food! Was delicious and again a nice change!

Home-style cuisine in a beautiful Oder location. The potato house is not innovative and in keeping with the times. The decoration has existed for over 20 years and apparently also the menu. Good home cooking, heavy and rich awaits you. That day I felt like it and was satisfied with my farmers breakfast. I was satisfied and extra requests were fulfilled (no onions). If you fancy nostalgia and traditional cuisine, this restaurant is recommended. The river promenade and the Ziegenwerder are located directly on the river. There you can walk away again in nature and by the water.

I think that this restaurant is one of the best in Frankfurt (Oder). It has a terrace, which comes handy in summer. The food is delicious, with a great variety of german dishes. As expected, the beers are fantastic. I love that the alcohol free beer is excellent, too. Definitely, I strongly recommend Frankfurter Kartoffelhaus.

Dined on the street, inside was hot, and the view is better, the restaurant is located on the waterfront. Dinner went well, only mosquitoes and midges interfered, and there are countless of them. There is a good local beer and a lot of dishes with potatoes at the base, cards are accepted, served quickly enough.

A meal for two, priced in the slightly upper range. The quality unfortunately disappointing. The ordered Schnitzel was burned on one side and this was not visible served on the plate. The fried potatoes damp and soaked in fat. Not crispy and only lukewarm. Probably a typical finished product. After complaint, there was no apology or otherwise because of the cover-up and poor quality. Pity... We will avoid the potato house in the future.

Adorable, over the top interior. Friendly service, very good German food, full bar, kids menu. I had the auflauf and enjoyed it. Kid had schnitzel and fries and ate the whole thing.

Was served an off beer which I didn't drink and was still charged for it also been served the wrong meal....

Fantastic service, and the food was perfect. We were 5 people, who had 5 different dishes, and everything was cooked perfectly. Absolutely a greit spot in town, with a greit view over the water to Polen.
